It makes you more visible on Naukri; it does not change what a recruiter reads, and Naukri itself guarantees no calls. Naukri’s sales team probably called you after you updated your profile. The pitch sounds good: be “featured”, rank higher, get noticed. Before you pay, here is what each FastForward service costs in October 2026, what it actually does, what Naukri promises in writing, and who gets real value from it.

What is Naukri FastForward?
Naukri FastForward is Naukri.com’s paid add-on for job seekers. It is a set of services, sold separately or as packs, that make your profile more visible to recruiters, alert you to new jobs faster, let you message recruiters, or improve your resume. Everything on Naukri you get for free (a profile, search and applying) stays free without it.
Most FastForward services do one of four things:

How much does Naukri FastForward cost in 2026?

Naukri also sells Basic and Premium value plans. The Basic plan is Resume Display alone; Premium bundles Resume Display, job alerts and Recruiter Connection. Earlier, Resume Display was sold in 3 and 6 month terms, so a sales caller may quote different packs.
What does each FastForward service actually do?
Resume Display
A Naukri expert rebuilds your profile, marks it “Featured”, and boosts it in recruiter search results. According to Naukri’s FAQ, your resume is also refreshed weekly so it keeps appearing higher, and it becomes visible to recruiters who use Naukri’s free CV search. It goes live about 6 working days after you share your updated resume.
Naukri claims profile views go up by 200%, recruiters are 3 times more likely to bookmark you, and your profile ranks in the top 1% of recruiter searches.
Priority Applicant
Your applications get a “Featured” tag when recruiters view the applicant list, and you get early-applicant job alerts by SMS and email. Naukri’s pitch is that early applicants are 4 times more likely to be shortlisted. This only helps if you check alerts and apply quickly every day.
Recruiter Connection
You search Naukri’s recruiter database and send messages with your resume attached. Naukri says this includes recruiters with jobs that are not publicly listed and 5,000+ international recruiters. The rules matter here:
1 credit = 1 message, and 5 credits cost ₹839, so each message costs about ₹168
You can message at most 30 recruiters a month
You cannot message the same recruiter again for 30 days
If a recruiter takes no action within 15 days, you get that credit back once
Credits expire 6 months after purchase
Jobs for You
Naukri’s experts pick jobs that match your profile and send them by SMS and email soon after they are posted. Useful if you are not checking Naukri every day; less useful if you already have alerts set up.
Resume Writing and Resume Critique
A Naukri expert either reviews your resume and sends a report (Critique), or rewrites it for you (Writing). Price depends on your experience level. This is the one FastForward service that changes what a recruiter actually reads.
AI Mock Interview
AI practice interviews based on your profile, for ₹296 over 3 months, with a free trial listed. Cheap and low risk, but it helps after you get calls, not before.

Is the Naukri FastForward call genuine or a scam?
Both exist. Naukri does sell FastForward by phone, often right after you update your profile. But Naukri also warns, on its own FastForward pages, about calls and emails asking for payment from people pretending to be Naukri.
Stay safe with three rules:
Only pay on resume.naukri.com or inside your Naukri account. Never through a payment link, UPI ID or bank account a caller sends you.
No genuine service can promise you a job. Naukri itself does not. If a caller guarantees placement for a fee, hang up.
Don’t share OTPs or your Naukri password with anyone on a call.
Why a boosted profile still might not get calls
FastForward works inside one system: recruiters searching Naukri’s database and scanning applicant lists. That system has two limits that no paid boost removes.
First, you are still in the pile. A featured tag moves you up the list, but a popular role can still collect hundreds of applicants, and the recruiter shortlists in minutes.
Second, the recruiter is often not the decision maker. Many Naukri searches are run by agency recruiters and HR teams filling several roles at once. The person who actually decides, the hiring manager for that team, rarely browses Naukri at all.
That is why Recruiter Connection is the most interesting FastForward service: it is the only one that puts a message in front of a person. But it is capped at 30 recruiters a month, at about ₹168 per message, and only reaches recruiters on Naukri.

Before you pay for anything, do these. They cost nothing and work on the same search system FastForward boosts.
Update your profile every week. Naukri refreshes paid Resume Display profiles weekly so they rank higher, which tells you freshness matters. A small genuine edit does the same.
Write your resume headline for search. Lead with the exact job title recruiters type, your years of experience and two core skills, for example “Product Manager, 7 years, B2B SaaS and payments”.
Fill key skills completely. Recruiters filter by them. Use the standard names for tools and skills, not your company’s internal terms.
Keep notice period, current CTC and location accurate. Recruiters filter on these first, and a wrong value hides you.
Apply within the first day. Turn on Naukri’s free job alerts and apply early to new postings, the free version of Priority Applicant.
